Award winning Beasley & Henley Interior Design has been selected by Stock Signature Homes to create the interiors for the Astoria I estate model at 665 Regatta Road in the Moorings neighborhood of Naples, FL. The home, now under construction, will showcase interior design and detailing by Principal Designer Troy Beasley featuring sophisticated, refined finishes. Beasley’s design will work in harmony with the clean-lined exterior architectural style that conveys the feeling of elegant island living.
A captivating sense of casual luxury will be found throughout the Astoria I’s 4,100-square-foot floor plan. It includes such features as a two-sided fireplace, large outdoor living area, gourmet kitchen, wine room, expansive master suite with private terrace, entry courtyard and two, 2-car garages. The furnished Astoria I is priced at $3,095,000.
Arrival to the elegant home is marked by the entry courtyard. Inside, the bright, spacious foyer introduces Beasley’s clean, light color palette of creams and grays that are found throughout. Beasley establishes his extensive use of wood detailing with a foyer ceiling that is stepped into a pyramid formation and blends with the tongue-and-groove wall paneling. The ceiling’s pyramid shape is mimicked in the gray and cream tones of the stone flooring.
The Astoria I’s reception room presents the atmosphere of an informal living room that is set apart from the great room. Here, Beasley establishes the pale gray driftwood flooring found throughout the home’s living areas. With its backdrop of wall-to-wall glass that is embellished with soft sheer drapes, the reception room provides an exquisite view of the outdoor pool area. A grouping of four chairs with an area rug keeps this space light and airy, and offers an ideal gathering place for conversation. A two-way fireplace is shared by the reception room and great room.
The great room is bright and open to the dining room wet bar, and kitchen. To create a focus for this grand space, Beasley enhanced the fireplace wall with inviting features. The light colors of the room’s clean-lined upholstered furniture is fresh and comfortable while maintaining an air of sophistication. The walls in the great room are finished in a soft off-white. Beasley’s combination of the driftwood gray floors and light wall tones allowed him to effectively introduce accent colors through the use of art pieces and accessories. The rear great room wall is comprised entirely of tall sliding glass doors which connect the indoor and outdoor entertaining areas.
The Astoria I’s kitchen Beasley selected a grey tone for the island and perimeter base cabinets, echoing the fireplace wall surround. For contrast the upper cabinets are executed in a light, painted cream finish. Uniting the two tones, are the Quartzite countertops. The backsplash is soft blue-gray elongated glass tiles creating a touch of drama. An adjacent breakfast room features built-in cabinetry along the back wall.
The carefree and yet sophisticated feeling of the Astoria I is continued in an outdoor living area. Beasley and his team created tongue-and-groove woodwork to adorn the covered lanai ceiling and continued his clean, modern color palette onto the lanai with pool deck flooring in pearl travertine stone pavers. The pool’s glass waterline tile is finished in warm blue-gray tones. Beasley designed a seating group centered on a two-sided fireplace that creates an inviting atmosphere throughout the space. A generous dining space adjacent to the summer kitchen is perfect for casual meals al fresco.
In the very private master bedroom, Beasley’s wall paneling and molding details first introduced in the foyer continue in this room and provide a backdrop for the upholstered headboard. The color tones in the master bedroom room are enhanced with touches of warm blue-gray as well as silver and bronze. Beasley’s color scheme continues in the master bathroom where elegant pale gray his-and-her vanity cabinets are topped with Calcutta gold marble. The floors are also Calcutta gold marble and are accented with inserts of honey onyx. Beasley positioned the freestanding tub so as to appear to float above the floor while the shower is finished in varied marble selections.
