Our comprehensive QAQC process ensures that our ID projects meet our highest standards at all stages of design.

Space Plan and Initial Design Concept: Our QAQC process begins with a thorough evaluation of the client vision and goals. This stage involves detailed discussions, questionnaire programming feedback, space plan presentation and feedback sessions to refine the amenity layouts and the design direction. Our Senior Managing Director has a BSc in Interior Architecture with 22 years of industry and space planning experience in multi-family projects, creating and overseeing this phase with the design team.

Schematics & Finishes: Material and finishes selection is a critical aspect of interior design, and our QAQC process ensures that the selections chosen by our experienced Interior Designers meet our quality standards. We conduct research and evaluation of materials based on factors such as durability, code requirements, sustainability, aesthetics, and budget. Samples are reviewed and approved by the design team and the client. This stage involves numerous review sessions to produce an immersive 3D walk-through for the Schematics and Finishes Presentation. QAQC is conducted by the design team, with an overall review by the Director of Interior Design and the Senior Managing Director to ensure all aligns with the design visions and functional requirements.

Design Development and Construction Document Drawings: As the design progresses, our QAQC process ensures rigorous scrutiny of every aspect of the DD and CD phases. This includes comprehensive reviews by the Senior Designer & Assistant and the Interior Architecture Senior Designer of all floor plans, elevations, sections and details, and finish schedules to ensure accuracy, consistency and adherence to industry standards and best practices. The DD and CD set of drawings is final reviewed by the Senior Managing Director before issuance to the client and architect.

Construction Administration: During this phase, our QAQC process involves proactive monitoring and oversight to ensure that the design intent is faithfully executed on site. Our team conducts site visits to inspect the progress, address any issues or concerns, and ensure that the construction meets our quality standards and specifications. We maintain open communication with contractors and subcontractors, providing clarification and guidance as needed to maintain the integrity of the design.
