NeoCon 2014! Interior Design Dream.

 Although I did not have the pleasure of attending NeoCon in Chicago at the Merchandise Mart, I did live vicariously through pictures design friends posted via social media.  With 700 exhibitors and showrooms, Neo Con is the largest commercial interiors show in North America.  NeoCon is your best opportunity to showcase your new and innovative products to thousands of key decision makers.Every year, 48 of the 700 exhibitors receive  a Metropolis Likes award, which recognizes the favorite trade-show designs and displays and products.  Here are a few of these award winners1. Bentley Mills, IncBentley Mills, carpet manufacturer based out of Los Angeles, CA actually took away two awards.  They received “Best in Competition”  and “Best Small Showroom” as seen below.  Their Bohemian style showroom exhibited exceptional use of space, color, texture and graphics. 2.  Arteriors Contract

 Arteriors Contract is a well respected, go-to resource for designers and purchasing agents looking to specify lighting, wall décor, occasional furniture, and accessories.  Designer Laura Kirar’s Caviar chandelier (seen below) was awarded a Metropolis Likes award.

3. Interface “Human Nature” collection

Interface debuted its new global carpet tile collection of 25cm x 1m skinny planks.   Forest floors, grassy fields and pebbled garden paths are just a few textures inspired by our innate connection to the earth.  Made with 100 percent recycled content nylon yarn, it will be manufactured globally in Interface factories.
